The 3 year old mind on Non-Animation(Funny/Short)

This morning I was sitting with my 3 year old son Lukas and drinking coffee. It was about 45 min before his official “Wakeup” time. He asked me “Why doesn’t my alarm clock want to go off?” I explained “Your alarm clock is a non animated object, it is not alive so it can’t want.” . . . . Blank stare. . . .I tried again with the orange cup you see in the picture as an illustration. “Can this cup feel hungary?” I asked. “No.” Lukas replied. I asked why to which he replied “Because it doesn’t have a tummy.” I then asked could the cup feel sad? Lukas replied puzzled at my fained lack of understanding “No, because it doesn’t have a face!” I smiled with that dopey grin only parents get.

It is special moments like these that make all the hardships of being a parent worth it! I encourage you to get up early and engage your little ones in conversation. Who knows you might even learn something! LOL

PS. That green piece of paper is a “Snake” he made. He was so proud of it that he requested I take this picture for posterity.
